"I can only credit fate that brought me to Dr. Waghela. I went to her at the end of my 7th month/ 2nd pregnancy (1st was a csec). She's maybe one of the few doctors in the whole city open for a VBAC..others I've been to won't even indulge in talking to you about it. Dr. Archana on the other hand has a no nonsense talk ...she explains the risks and the preparedness needed for a VBAC. I was undecided till the very end....not once did she pressure me to make a decision about the mode of delivery ..she assured me I still have time and I can make a decision till the cut off date. "No worries is her mantra"
Come to the day my water broke and I went into labour she instructed the nurses on the course of action and ensured the baby heart rate was being monitored while she was on her way.
She came, she saw and she delivered the baby (vaginal) in all of 30 mins. All throughout she motivated me to push a little more and that's she's there to help me and that I can do this. She just kept the support in full power mode. I had tears in my eyes once the ordeal was over. We sealed it with a hug at the end, because how could I not...I was so worried about the risks and whether I should even think of attempting it. And her guidance and treatment just put me at ease to attempt it.
Her post op care and instructions are top notch.
She's one of the very few docs who will answer all your questions, talk to you and at the end ask you if there is anything that you wanna ask her or any doubts. She doesn't dismiss any doubts but rather takes the time to explain stuff to you.
She is the doc i would recommend you go to with your eyes closed. I hope more people know that VBAC is an option for women and that this is possible you just need a doc like Dr. Archana Waghela who will stick by you to attempt it.."
